Dutch 3D printing company Ultimaker this week announced the relocation of its headquarters to Utrecht, a city in the central Netherlands. The move—along with a new branding strategy—are steps in the company’s continued expansion, which has been accelerating in recent years as the demand for professional 3D printing solutions has grown.
Rosswag Engineering, a division of die forged product provider Rosswag GmbH, has today announced the acquisition of its third selective laser melting (SLM) 3D printer from SLM Solutions. The machine, an SLM 280, was recently delivered and installed at Rosswag Engineering’s facility in Pfinztal, Germany and will enable the company to expand its production and development capabilities and to further material qualifications for the SLM process.
Titomic Limited, an Australia-based specialist in metal additive manufacturing, is partnering with German producer of wear-resistant precision metal parts C.A. PICARD Group. Together, the companies will leverage Titomic’s Kinetic Fusion (TKF) technology to produce metal components for the extruder technology market.
Anisoprint, a company based in Russia and Luxembourg specializing in composite fiber 3D printing, has revealed one of its newest customers: Schunk Carbon Technology. The company, a division of the Germany-based Schunk Group, is a global leader in the development, manufacture and application of carbon and ceramic solutions.
Italian additive manufacturing service bureau Beam-IT is deepening its existing partnership with metal AM specialist SLM Solutions through a new agreement that will see it acquire two new SLM 3D printers.
