Munich-based DyeMansion, a specialist in 3D printing finishing technologies, has appointed YUNS as its first authorized reseller in China, expanding its global partner network in the APAC region. The companies aim to support the proliferation of industrial 3D printing technologies within the powerful manufacturing nation as well as to explore new applications for AM.
Nexa3D, a manufacturer of SLA 3D printers, has made a series of announcements this week, all aimed at expanding its 3D printing business and client base. Among the announcements, Nexa3D has enlisted UK-based AM solutions provider CREAT3D and South Korean 3D printer supplier Brulé as new resellers. To date, the company has reseller agreements with companies in North America, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Britain and South Korea. In addition to the reseller network partnerships, Nexa3D has also brought on a new member to its Board of Directors: Jeff Holden, the former chief product officer at ride-sharing giant Uber.
The Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC) at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland has entered into a new partnership with Airbus Defence and Space (Airbus DS) and TWI Ltd to bring the production of space propellant tanks back to the UK. The agreement marks the AFRC’s first foray into the space industry.
Composites One, a specialist in composite materials, and Tru-Design LLC, an expert in coatings for large-area 3D printed polymer-based products, recently signed a distribution agreement. The partnership will focus on the sale of Tru-Design’s material coatings and finishes, which impart professionally smooth surfaces and vacuum integrity for large-format 3D printed tools and cosmetic parts.
Western Sydney is gearing up to become a central hub for additive manufacturing in Australia thanks in large part to a new partnership between the New South Wales (NSW) Government and GE Additive. The parties recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim of developing industrial scale 3D printing solutions at the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.
GoPrint3D, a UK-based supplier of 3D printing technologies, is the newest addition to HP’s UK channel partner program and will begin supplying HP’s Jet Fusion 3D printing systems to its network of customers.

Together, the companies will seek to create new opportunities in the AM industry using Elementum 3D’s innovative AM materials and KAM’s production capabilities.
Bioprinting company CELLINK has announced it has entered into an agreement with life science company cytena GmbH to acquire all of the company’s shares for €30.25 million (roughly $33.87 million). The acquisition is expected to bolster CELLINK’s commercial strategy and strengthen its product offering.
