Efesto Brings Sciaky’s EBAM Metal 3D Printing to Korea 3D Printing Processes

At the invitation of the Korean government, Kunal Varma, President and COO of EFESTO (https://www.efesto.us/), visited South Korea this past week. EFESTO, in addition to being an AM company in its own right, is a registered reseller of the Sciaky (https://www.sciaky.com/) large-volume EBAM (Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing) industrial metal 3D printers. Mr. Varma met with industrial leaders and researchers at the Korean Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) in Ulsan, South Korea to discuss possible sales of Sciaky industrial machines to South Korea.

Stratasys, Arburg, Covestro Showing Off Their 3D Printing at K 2016 3D Printing Events

Covestro is presenting its latest materials and technologies at the K 2016 – the largest plastic industry shows in the world – ranging from an electric car to 3D-printed surfaces for shoes to rotor blades for wind power systems. Covestro will be exhibiting athletic shoe uppers. What is special about them is that they come straight off a 3D printer, printed by means of fused filament fabrication from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), a plastic made with materials from Covestro.
