Electronics 3D printer manufacturer Nano Dimension is now working together with the expert PCB designers at Zuken to advance the 3D printing user experience and prototype turnaround times. Nano Dimension will take advantage of the support for implementing electronic technologies provided by Zuken’s market-leading, native 3D, system-level design solution, CR-8000 Design Force, to further evolve its Dragonfly PCB 3D printer.

Roboze Partners with Polymertal on New Hybrid 3D Printing and Metal Plating Process AM Industry

Roboze, the leading Italian 3D printing company announced today that it has formed an alliance with Polymertal, an innovative Israeli company that specializes in producing hybrid products based on metal plating of 3D printed parts. As part of the agreement, Polymertal will purchase Roboze’s flagship product – the Roboze One+400 industrial 3D printer – to enhance a unique plating process to be applied to Roboze’s metal replacement techno-polymers focusing on PEEK, PEI & CARBON-PA.

Rocket Lab raises $75 million for production of electron rocket with 3D printed engine Money & Funding

US and New Zealand based rocket manufacturer Rocket Lab has closed a $75m Series D financing round, led by Data Collective, with additional investors Promus Ventures and an undisclosed investor. The company has partnered with this group of investors because of their experience in the space industry. They have also renewed participation in this round from existing investors – Khosla Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners and K1W1 – who have provided continued expertise and support in the company’s effort to make space accessible to everyone. The closure of the round brings the total funding Rocket Lab has received to date to $148 million, with the company value now in excess of $1 billion (USD). Currently, small satellite companies wait years to get on orbit, often at the mercy and schedules of larger payloads. With Electron, they will be provided a high-frequency, quality launch service that will take customers where they want to go, when they want to fly. The commercial and humanitarian applications this will open up are endless. The satellites Electron will launch are used to provide optimized crop monitoring, natural disaster prediction, Internet from space, improved weather reporting, up-to-date maritime data and search and rescue services.

At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, the king of Saudi Arabia, Salman Ben Abdul Aziz Al-Shahat, paid a state visit to China from March 15 to March 18. On March 16, King Salman witnessed the signing of a memorandum of cooperation for extensive 3D printing construction operations between the Saudi Almobty Construction Group and house 3D printing pioneer Winsun (Ying Chuang).
