According to a story first published by TheDrive, “all models referencing the word Honda posted prior to March 30, 2022, were seemingly removed from Printables without warning. These included speaker brackets, key housings, hood latches, shifter bushings, washer fluid caps, roof latch handles, and my trunk lid handle—a part not offered on 10th generation Accords sold in the U.S. at all. According to the author of the article, many of the removed parts had no Honda branding but were just compatible with Honda vehicles. As it turns out, Prusa says it was issued a takedown notice from Honda and removed all 3D models that referenced the brand.

Dutch technology provider CyBe Construction and Curaçao concrete expert Betonindustrie Brievengat (BIB) are joining forces for a strategic partnership. This is through a 10-day on-site training during which the first two buildings will be printed in the island of Curaçao, the first-ever 3D construction printing initiative in the Caribbean archipelago. 3D Sculpture Scanning Reinforces Massive Russian War Memorial

3D sculpture scanning and printing perfected the design of a twenty-five-meter-tall bronze statue commemorating the 2.3 million dead and wounded soldiers lost in the Battles of Rzhev, which took place between January 1942 and March 1943. The sculptor, Andrey Korobtsov, and his architect partner, Konstantin Fomin, enlisted Thor3D’s scanning technology, which allowed the engineering team to work with him to replicate a scale model for wind tunnel testing using 3D printing. The sculpture stands in place as of March 31, 2020.
