Solution

• Step 1: Design. The cartoon character was designed in Blender software, and exported as an STL file for quoting.
• Step 2: Printing. SLA Clear Resin was selected and printed using an SLA 3D printer, where a UV laser cured the resin layer by layer.
• Step 3: Post-Processing. After printing, the figure was cleaned and post-cured under UV light. It was then polished to be more transparent.
• Step 4: Dyeing. Technicians applied a gradient dye from deep red at the top to lighter at the base, according to client specifications.
• Step 5: Finishing. The figure got sprayed with a thin layer of clear acrylic oil, underwent a quality check and was then delivered to the client.
