About Project

A student created the unmanned garbage truck as his graduation project. It's a complicated assembly model and he has high requirements on the surface finishing, but the quality quite matches the price.

Solution

  • Step 1: Our engineers examine the model thoroughly, split it into different parts, then arrange the placement and add necessary supports.
  • Step 2: 3D print most parts with SLA ABS-like Resin. The layer thickness we set is 0.05mm and we control the tolerance within 卤0.1 mm.
  • Step 3: When printing is completed, rinse the models with IPA and post-cure them with UV. Cut off all the supports, spray with putty, then polish with sandpaper.
  • Step 4: Paint the resin parts as the instructions on the blueprints. Assemble the parts together and adjust the tolerance with tools.
  • Step 5: Produce the wheels and brushes with SLS 3D printing technology using TPU powders. The brushes are firstly printed as sheets and then glued into a round brushes.
