The client wanted an electric motorbike that could hold more cargo, so he designed an ideal one by himself and 3D print the prototype. It has a large basket and a widen anti-slip pedal.
Solution
Step 1: The model has no tiny structures or delicate details, and the client has a tight budget, so we offer to print the model in one piece and paint it in a single color.
Step 2: We arrange the parts in software and add necessary supports. Then 3D print them with SLA Generic Resin. The layer thickness we set is 0.1mm and we control the tolerance within 卤0.2 mm.
Step 3: When printing is completed, rinse the models with IPA and post-cure them with UV. Cut off all the supports and marks with scissors and graters, then polish with sandpaper. Try to assemble all the parts.
Step 4: Spray with putties and paint the parts yellow with an airbrush.
