About Project
The intricate pipe gallery model is 3D printed for a chemical plant. There are three different kinds of chemicals and their running ways are marked with different paints. For the convenience of coloring, we 3D printed all the pipes, including the parallels and pipe fittings.
Solution
- Step 1: Split the 3D models into pipes, bases and enclosures.
- Step 2: 3D print all the parts with SLA Generic Resin.
- Step 3: Cut off the supports, remove the marks with sandpaper.
- Step 4: Color all the parts with airbrushes.
- Step 5: Glue all the parts after air-drying.
