About Project
As you see in the photos, the Eiffel Tower and the Bird's Nest Olympic Stadium are not much bigger than a match head. They are printed with SLA Microscopic Resin, which can achieve an ultra-high printing resolution (2µm-50µm) and printing tolerance(±5-25µm). They are usually applied in the electronics industry.
Solution
- Micro 3D printing process is based on stereolithography (SLA) in which successive layers of photocurable resin are selectively solidified by targeted UV light to fabricate 3D objects.
- Each process variant differentiates itself by its source of UV light (laser beam or DLP projector), system layout, and special features deployed to reach micro resolution and tolerances.
- Projection Micro Stereolithography (PµSL) printing is similar to common SLA printing processes, also including supports adding, light curing, cleaning, post-curing and polishing.
