About Project

Inspired by the lilacs, a restaurant customed these resin parts as their shop decoration. The hollow lines and curved edges of the petals are a piece of cake for 3D printing.

Solution

  • Step 1: The four petals of the lilac decorations are designed to be assembled onto the base. Our engineer needs to confirm the structure and dimension for printing and check the width of the hollow lines.
  • Step 2: Arrange the placement so the curved edge can be printed without transformation. Add the supports to the back of the petals to protect the smooth and indefectible front surface.
  • Step 3: 3D print the small batch of bases and petals separately using our industrial SLA 3D printers. Rinse with IPA and post-cure them with UV. Clear the marks and bumps. Then try to assemble them all, and fix them with superglue.
