About Project

The kindergarten is designed to have round corners and star-shaped skylights, so the client turned to us for 3D printing service. Besides, he also ordered laser-cut wooden boards as the ground. FacFox offers various types of manufacturing services for your convenience.

Solution

  • Step 1: The client builds the whole model with SketchUp, and export the STL file for printing. Our engineer would help him examine the model.
  • Step 2: We arrange the model in software and add necessary supports. Then 3D print it with SLA Generic Resin in one piece. To help him control the cost, the layer thickness we set is 0.1mm and we control the tolerance within 卤0.1 mm.
  • Step 3: When printing is completed, rinse the models with IPA and post-cure them with UV. Cut off all the supports, then polish with sandpaper.
  • Step 4: Laser cut the MDF boards according to the 2D blueprints. Then assemble the resin print and the boards together and fix with glue.
