Additive Industries, a Dutch developer and manufacturer of 3D metal printers for industrial manufacturing, is developing a new, larger version of its system, the MetalFAB-600. The company expects to present the new model towards the end of 2021.

Ultimaker introduced its new single extrusion printer, the Ultimaker 2+ Connect. The new system represents a more accessible entry point to Ultimaker’s ecosytem. The new desktop system costs 2,050 euros, or 2,499 American dollars. It is now available through Ultimaker’s global partner network.
Wematter launched the Gravity 2021 3D printer, a new thermal additive manufacturing system that boast automation capable of removing certain maintenance activities. This latest printer builds the Swedish company’s profile as a user-centric manufacturer. The Gravity is Wematter’s most advanced product to date. Its improvements over previous print systems include a reinforced recoater and upgraded thermal design. The company launched a water-jet cleaning cabinet with improved ergonomics, named Density 2021, alongside the new printer. The company also announced the Inertia, a unit that collects and recycles unsintered powder after printing.
Fast Radius is expanding its fleet of Carbon 3D printers with the addition of the Carbon L1 printer. The adoption of the L1 printer complements Fast Radius’ in-production Carbon M series printers and expands capabilities into large part production using Carbon DLS technology.
