About Project

Here comes another client who was impressed by our Animal Crossing statues and placed an order of Shino the deer villager. She is a yellow cream-colored peppy deer with red horns and gray-tipped ears. The client hoped the deer has the same gesture as the character card she offered, and we built the 3D model with reference to other screenshots of Shino in the game. We drew her beautiful kimono with Procreate and mapped the pattern onto the model.

Solution

• Step 1: Our designer built the 3D model of Shino with reference to some screenshots in the game offered by the client.
• Step 2: Add soluble PolyJet supports with materials that can let you create complex 3D printed parts and models with no restrictions on geometry.
• Step 3: Print the model with PolyJet 3D printer using Multi-color Resin.
• Step 4: Remove the supporting structure by rinsing the model with water and isopropanol (IPA).
