New material available – LCD ultra detail resin is ready for 3D printing!
It has excellent detail performance but only half of the price of DLP ultra detail resin.
This tyre prototype is 8cm in diameter and has been made as part of an RC car. You can clearly see the patterns and letters on it.

Solution
- Step 1: 3D modeling within the restrictions of the material and technology. The height of the pattern should be at least 1mm. For such a high-resolution product, we recommend using LCD printing technology.
- Step 2: 3D print the models in one piece with Ultra Detail Resin. The layer thickness we set is 0.05mm.
- Step 3: Cut off the supports carefully with scissors and wash the print with IPA, then post-cure it with UV.
