Solution
- Step 1: The 3D model was designed using CAD software to capture the iconic shape and exaggerated features of Mr. Krabs.
- Step 2: The digital file was sliced in preparation for 3D printing, with careful attention paid to wall thickness, supports, and print orientation.
- Step 3: The parts were printed using FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology, utilizing high-quality PLA filament in vibrant red, blue, white, and black colors.
- Step 4: The printed parts were post-processed by removing support structures and smoothing surfaces as needed.
- Step 5: Each component was assembled using adhesive and fitted precisely to maintain structural stability and visual accuracy.
- Step 6: The final model was hand-finished, including details like painted accents and glued-on accessories (eyes, claws, belt, etc.).
- Step 7: A stainless steel bowl was inserted into the inner cavity, completing the functional aspect of the design.
- Step 8: The product was inspected and cleaned before being packaged and shipped to ensure quality and safety for pet use.
