We all know that FDM 3D prints are not watertight. However, our clients ordered the flower pots for the succulents just for their “drawbacks”. They are breathable for plants, which encourages proper water drainage and air circulation. And unlike terracotta or ceramic pots, they are still lightweight after adding soil and plants.
Solution
Step 1: Arrange multiple 3D models in the software. The angles of the cup do not require supports necessarily.
Step 2: 3D print them using FDM PETG. It combines the ease of use of PLA filament with the strength and durability of ABS filament, making it a great everyday alternative 3D printing material.
