About Project

This mini bus is a competition project designed by a high school student. The automatic door is fixed on the body to save the cost. Its black windows could effectively block the sunlight outside.

Solution

  • Step 1: As for such a simple display model, we suggest printing it in one piece with SLA technology. Our engineers help the client examine the model and make sure all the structures are printable.
  • Step 2: We arrange the bus model in software and add necessary supports. Then 3D print it with SLA Generic Resin in one piece. The layer thickness we set is 0.05mm and we control the tolerance within 卤0.1 mm.
  • Step 3: When printing is completed, rinse the model with IPA and post-cure it with UV. Cut off all the supports and marks with scissors and graters, then polish with sandpaper. Spray the model with putties to make the surface look better.
  • Step 4: Paint the bus with airbrushes and wool brushes. Screenprint the logo and characters. Finally, spray it with clear acrylic oil.
