How many children across the globe have fallen asleep dreaming of playing like Lionel Messi? As one of the most prolific football icons in history, his runs, nutmegs, and signature goal celebrations are woven directly into the fabric of modern sports history.

While Messi continues to redefine longevity and break records on the world stage today, it is often the nostalgia of his classic, prime eras that holds the most sacred place in a true fan’s heart. This project represents the perfect intersection of advanced additive manufacturing and emotional tribute鈥攑reserving a timeless football memory into an exquisite, physical collectible.

Commissioned by an ardent supporter, FacFox utilized high-resolution DLP 3D printing and master-level post-processing to recreate a highly detailed micro-statue of Messi capturing his vintage matchday stance. The goal was to surpass standard mass-produced action figures and deliver an authentic, gallery-grade collector鈥檚 piece.

Solution

• Step 1: Our engineer firstly checks the model bought from the Internet. We especially examine the minimum details.
• Step 2: For the convenience of painting, we split the model into many pieces, upper and lower body, arms and legs, head and clothes.
• Step 3: Add supports and arrange the model in the slicer software, then 3D print it with DLP Ultra Detail Resin.
• Step 4: Rinse with IPA and polish to remove the supports very carefully. Then polish to remove the marks.
• Step 5: Paint the parts with reference to his photo and glue them together.
