About Project

As the client told us the mock-up samples are made to be displayed on an exhibition, and requested the white parts can be easily assembled and disassembled. Our technician added some mortise and tenon joint structures to the 3D models and solved the problem.

Solution

• Step 1: Check the STL files, alter the joint design according to the client’s requirements.
• Step 2: Add supports and arrange the placement of all these models in Cura and process printing.
• Step 3: 3D print the parts with SLA Durable Resin.
• Step 4: Take out the prints and rinse with IPA. Polish with sandpaper and post-cure them with UV.
• Step 5: Try to assemble the parts. Then color the parts with white and blue paints.
