These innovative toddler shoes can reduce the injury to the ankle when the baby runs and jumps. The 3D-printed sole is made of elastic material to effectively cushion the shock while being non-slip.

Solution

• Step 1: As requested by the clients the shoe soles need to be printed in one piece, so the upper surface and midsole are not pront to be worn apart.
• Step 2: Produce the sole with SLS 3D printing technology using TPU powders. The excess powders in the mesh structures are easy to be removed.
• Step 3: Smooth out the surface of TPU prints with chemical vapour.
• Step 4: The shoe soles are connected with animal-patterns cloths with thread and glue.
