Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) is a method of drawing out fluid and infection from a wound to help it heal. This therapy involves a special dressing (bandage), tubing, a negative pressure device, and canister to collect fluids. And here is a resin housing 3D printed for a NPWT device prototype.
Solution
Step 1: The client builds the model with AutoCAD. We help him carefully examine the model and give a quote based on the requirements.
Step 2: Add supporting structures and arrange the placement in the software. 3D print the model in one piece with SLA Tough Resin Grey. Considering the scale and the desired surface effect, we set the layer thickness to 0.1 mm.
Step 3: Cut off the supports and rinse with IPA, then polish to remove marks. Color the model with airbrushes into the specified color.
