About Project

One of the great marvels is that scientists thoroughly studied the human body and internal organs that can be hard to conceptualize and understand.

Cooperated with doctors from a famous hospital, we tried our best to print the set of anatomical models with SLA 3D printing technology. These human organ models are composed of both transparent parts and colored parts to clearly present the inner structures.

Solution

  • Step 1: Check the 3D models and communicate about the client’s requirements, like size and preferred material, main purposes, etc. Split the models in special software as they need to be printed in different materials and undergo post-processing. Add the snap-fit structure for the assembly parts.
  • Step 2: 3D print the transparent parts with SLA Clear Resin, and print the other parts with SLA Generic Resin(White).
  • Step 3: Take out the printed parts from the plane, wash them with IPA, then UV post-cure them.
  • Step 4: Polish to remove tiny marks on the surface.
  • Step 5: Subtle color-tuning as requested by the client. Fine-paint the Generic Resin parts. Assemble the parts together.
