3D Systems has entered the radiation oncology market with FDA 510(k) clearance of VSP Bolus, a solution designed to deliver high-quality patient-specific radiotherapy treatment accessories. As the latest addition to the company’s VSP portfolio of personalized medical devices, VSP Bolus is the only solution on the market that offers a full design and production service based on the patient’s treatment plan. As a result, radiotherapy providers do not need specialized design software and expertise, allowing them to focus directly on patient treatment and care. 3D Systems’ deep experience in additive manufacturing of medical devices enables the company to deliver 3D printed, biocompatible patient-specific boluses that can improve therapy modulation as well as patient comfort.

Over the past few months, we have been able (thanks to the very efficient marketing and partnerships team at Anycubic) to test several Anycubic systems, for both filament extrusion and photopolymerization technologies. While we have not had the opportunity to compare them with many other similarly priced systems, we sometimes feel we don’t need to. Every Anycubic system we’ve tried so far has far exceeded our expectations and they just keep getting better. The latest one that we had the opportunity to test is the new Anycubic Photon M3 Plus, which was released last March, together with the M3 and M3 Max (and with the filament extrusion systems Kobra and Kobra Max). It has been a very, very fun and positive experience, to the point that we now think that the M3 Plus’ competitors are not other similarly priced systems but even the much more expensive systems.

According to a story first published by TheDrive, “all models referencing the word Honda posted prior to March 30, 2022, were seemingly removed from Printables without warning. These included speaker brackets, key housings, hood latches, shifter bushings, washer fluid caps, roof latch handles, and my trunk lid handle—a part not offered on 10th generation Accords sold in the U.S. at all. According to the author of the article, many of the removed parts had no Honda branding but were just compatible with Honda vehicles. As it turns out, Prusa says it was issued a takedown notice from Honda and removed all 3D models that referenced the brand.
