About Project

The best ever gifts for railfans are the rail-related miniatures. They cover locomotives, rolling stock, streetcars, tracks, signaling, cranes, and landscapes including countryside, roads, bridges, buildings, vehicles, harbors, urban landscape, model figures, lights, and features such as rivers, hills, tunnels, and canyons. In this case, we printed a train bridge, a locomotive, and a carriage with SLA printing technology.

Solution

  • Step 1: Examine the 3D models carefully, especially whether the details exceed minimum layer heights.
  • Step 2: Add supporting structures for the models in case the overhangs may break or deform.
  • Step 3: 3D print the parts with SLA Durable Resin. The infill of the train bridge is 100% so that it can undertake the trains.
  • Step 4: Cut off the supports and wash the prints with IPA. Spray the prints with a prime after air drying. Then our experienced painters will process fine-painting.
