Here's an example of how the client combines two materials into one part. The hands and feet are printed with clear resin, while other parts of the toy are printed with generic resin.

Solution

• Step 1: As the doll has a simple look and is designed to assembly parts, we check the tolerance of all the connecting parts.
• Step 2: Add supporting structures for the models in case they may break or deform.
• Step 3: Arrange the placement and 3D print the parts with SLA Generic Resin and SLA Clear Resin.
• Step 4: Cut off the supports and wash the prints with IPA. Spray the prints with a prime after air drying. Polish to remove the marks.
• Step 5: Spray the clear parts with acrylic paint. Try to assemble all the parts.
