Solution

• Step 1: A 3D model of the young lady was created using 3D modeling software, such as Blender.
• Step 2: The 3D model was uploaded to the FacFox website, where it was checked for errors and optimized for printing.
• Step 3: The 3D model was sliced into thin layers by software that also assigned colors to each pixel of the model.
• Step 4: The printing process began. A roller spread a thin layer of fine-grained gypsum powder CJP Fullcolor Sandstone on a platform. A print head jetted tiny drops of colored binder onto the powder, selectively binding and coloring the pixels according to the sliced model. The platform moved down a layer at a time as the part was built up.
• Step 5: The printed part was removed from the platform and cleaned of excess powder. A special coating was applied to the part to enhance its strength and durability. The part was then attached to a wooden base and packaged for delivery.
