About Project

When taking photos of this resin sample part, we happened to find that in some angles the print looks like a surprised face. It's ideal for high-temperature-resistant composite parts – such as tooling and wind tunnel testing parts, and it can endure at most 268℃.

Solution

  • Step 1: Examine the 3D models to make sure the minimum detail is large enough, arrange the placement on the platform, and add supporting structures.
  • Step 2: 3D print the parts with the material High-temperature Resin-270℃, which is the material of choice for applications that require strong, stiff, high temperature resistant composite parts.
  • Step 3: When printing is finished, remove the supports and rinse it with IPA, then manually sand and polish it with 400-4000 grit sandpaper until the part becomes transparent.
  • Step 4: Spray the parts evenly with clear acrylic oil. As the oil protection layer has a thickness, the dimension of parts may be affected.
