Solution

• Step 1: A 3D model of the pendant was created using CAD software tools for jewelry design.
• Step 2: The 3D model was printed in wax or castable resin using a high-resolution 3D printer.
• Step 3: The 3D-printed pattern was attached to a sprue tree, which was a metal structure that allowed the molten metal to flow into the mold.
• Step 4: A mold, also called an investment, was made around the sprue tree by pouring a liquid ceramic material over it.
• Step 5: The mold was heated in a furnace until the wax or resin melted and burned out, leaving a hollow cavity in the shape of the pendant.
• Step 6: Molten silver was poured into the mold through the sprue tree, filling the cavity and forming the pendant.
• Step 7: The mold was broken and removed, revealing the silver pendant.
• Step 8: The pendant was plated with rose gold using an electroplating process, which involved immersing the pendant in a solution containing copper, zinc and silver ions and applying an electric current.
