Sometimes you are invited to a masquerade ball, but cannot find a matching mask for your garment. Why not consider designing a special one for yourself? No one else would wear the same mask as yours, and it's custom according to your face, just like Cinderella's Glass Slipper. The mask, covering only half of her face, smartly uses the butterfly to hook her ear so that no elastic band is needed. For making a small-batch of production, 3D printing is the most economical method.

Solution

• Step 1: As there are many butterflies on the mask, we suggest printing with nylon powder or resin. Printing with nylon can largely decrease the fee for post-processing, but the resin mask would have a more smooth surface. After knowing the difference, our client decides to print with resin.
• Step 2: Adding supports to the mask and print it with SLA 3D printing technology using SLA Durable Resin.
• Step 3: The post-process is time-consuming and painstaking. Our workers need to cut off the supports carefully and polish the mask by hand. Spray the mask with UV-oil.
