Solution

• Step 1: Block selection. A block of high-performance EPP foam, sized according to the enclosure’s dimensions, was chosen.
• Step 2: CNC programming. The enclosure’s CAD model was translated into CNC machine instructions, specifying toolpaths and cutting depths.
• Step 3: Milling process. The EPP block was secured in the CNC machine and meticulously milled, removing excess material to create the desired shape.
• Step 4: Perforation drilling. Ten small holes were precisely drilled based on the blueprint’s specifications, enabling future customization.
• Step 5: Completion & inspection. The finished enclosure underwent a final quality check before being released for further processing or shipment.
