About Project

The PMMA boards are described to be the components of a clock by our client. It really looks like the top view of a drone. He ordered 5 pieces of the frame, and front and back arms, of which the thickness is 5mm. And the total cost is less than $100.
Acrylic requires a higher frequency when laser cutting compared to other common materials such as wood. The higher frequency distributes the energy evenly into the material.

Solution

  • Step 1: Convert the .png file into .dwg, and import the file into the laser cutting machine.
  • Step 2: Set the laser cutter, cut the acrylic boards and drill holes in the designed route.
