The client wanted an electric motorbike that could hold more cargo, so he designed an ideal one by himself and 3D print the prototype. It has a large basket and a widen anti-slip pedal.
Solution
Step 1: The model has no tiny structures or delicate details, and the client has a tight budget, so we offer to print the model in one piece and paint it in a single color.
Step 2: We arrange the parts in software and add necessary supports. Then 3D print them with SLA Generic Resin. The layer thickness we set is 0.1mm and we control the tolerance within ±0.2 mm.
Step 3: When printing is completed, rinse the models with IPA and post-cure them with UV. Cut off all the supports and marks with scissors and graters, then polish with sandpaper. Try to assemble all the parts.
Step 4: Spray with putties and paint the parts yellow with an airbrush.
