The female robot is designed to be printed in one piece. The only moveable part is her face shield, which can be lifted up to show her face. The painting job is costly although her colors are simple. It involves using matte and glossy metallic paints and great painting skills to color different areas of her body.
Solution
Step 1: Check the 3D models from the designer engaged by our clients. We mainly focus on its resolution, minimum layer thickness, wall thickness, and if there are any boundary edges, intersecting faces or other faults.
Step 2: 3D print the robot sculptures in one piece with our industrial SLA 3D printer. We recommend using
Step 3: Take out the print and post-cure it with UV. Then wash it with IPA to remove excess materials and supports. Sand and polish the print to remove marks and bumps.
Step 4: Brush with black and metallic paints. Apply with clear acrylic oil to make it look shinier.
