Solution

• DMLS Process for Tungsten Bull:

1. A CAD model of the lucky bull was designed and exported into a 3D printable file format.
2. The DMLS printer was prepared, and a layer of tungsten powder was spread onto the build platform.
3. A high-power laser beam selectively fused the tungsten powder particles together, layer by layer.
4. The build platform was lowered after each layer, and a new layer of powder was applied.
5. This process was repeated until the bull statue was fully formed.
6. Once printing was completed, the excess powder was removed, and the bull was allowed to cool.
7. Post-processing steps, such as stress relief and surface finishing, were performed to enhance the statue鈥檚 properties and appearance.

• SLS Process for White Nylon Base:

1. Similarly, a CAD model for the base was created and converted into a 3D printable format.
2. The SLS printer was set up, and a thin layer of white nylon powder was distributed over the print bed.
3. A CO2 laser sintered the nylon powder, solidifying the designated areas according to the CAD design.
4. After each layer, the print bed moved down, and a new layer of powder was spread on top.
5. The sintering and lowering process continued until the white base was complete.
6. The base was then left to cool within the unsintered powder to gain strength.
7. Finally, the white base was extracted from the powder bed, and any remaining powder was cleaned off.

Both parts were likely assembled to complete the statue, ensuring a seamless integration of the tungsten bull with its white nylon base.
