Solution

  • Step 1: Design Preparation. The digital model of the Sukhoi Su-27 was created using CAD software, and the file was exported in a 3D printable format.
  • Step 2: Machine Setup. An SLA 3D printer was prepared, with the resin tank filled with UV-sensitive liquid resin.
  • Step 3: Layer Formation. A UV laser was employed to cure the resin layer by layer, solidifying the design’s cross-sections as the build platform was lowered incrementally.
  • Step 4: Printing Completion. Upon completion of the printing process, the build platform was raised, and the excess resin was drained away.
