Solution

• Step 1: Design Creation. The detailed design of the modern multi-level houseboat was created using CAD software. The design included two main levels with various rooms, living areas, a kitchen, sleeping quarters, an open deck area, and outdoor furniture.
• Step 2: File Preparation.聽The CAD design file was converted into a format compatible with the SLA 3D printer, typically an STL file. The file was then sliced into layers using slicing software, and the necessary supports were added.
• Step 3: Printer Setup.聽The SLA 3D printer was prepared by filling the resin tank with the appropriate photopolymer resin. The build platform was cleaned and leveled to ensure proper adhesion of the first layer.
• Step 4: Printing Process.聽The sliced design file was uploaded to the SLA 3D printer. The printing process began with the laser selectively curing the resin layer by layer, starting from the bottom and moving upwards. Each layer was cured according to the design specifications.
• Step 5: Support Removal.聽Once the printing was completed, the model was carefully removed from the build platform. The support structures were then removed using cutting tools and pliers.
• Step 6: Post-Processing.聽The printed model was washed in isopropyl alcohol to remove any uncured resin. It was then placed in a UV curing chamber to ensure complete curing of the resin.
• Step 7: Detailing and Assembly.聽The individual parts of the houseboat were assembled. The intricate details, such as the interior living space, furniture, and exterior pool with water simulation, were carefully added. The model was painted primarily white with yellow lighting accents to enhance realism.
• Step 8: Lighting Installation.聽LED light strips were installed in the indoor rooms to provide realistic lighting effects. The wiring was concealed within the model to maintain a clean appearance.
