The male astronaut brown bear and female server white bear are customed as prototypes for a toy designer. Usually, the designers would change their design and print several editions of prototypes before they finally produce the toys in batch.
Solution
Step 1: Check the 3D models and add supporting structures. Scale the models to our client’s desired dimensions.
Step 2: 3D print the models in one piece with SLA Generic Resin (White), the build volume of which can vary from 5 x 5 x 5 mm to 1700 x 900 x 800 mm. And it can be translucent or transparent or painted with no restrictions, thus becoming the favorable material for printing fine-detail models with smooth surfaces.
Step 3: Post-processing. Remove excess materials from the prints, and wash them with IPA. Sanding and polishing can make the surface look better.
Step 4: The models are fine-painted by our seasoned painters, who can perfectly present the client’s ideas. The models are then applied with UV-oil to achieve a glossy effect.
