3D scanning of BMW bicycle frame, which can be used for reverse engineering, 3D mapping, design improvement, etc. The white metallic reflective surface can be scanned directly without powder coating. The overall size of the frame is 1000*445*160mm, and the accuracy is 0.01mm.

Solution

• First, according to the shape and accuracy requirements of the scanned object, the detection points are pasted in the appropriate positions.
• Secondly, use 3D scanning system to scan and map together with photogrammetry to obtain high-precision 3D data.
• Finally, after processing the data obtained by scanning with related software, STP format drawings can be generated.
