About Project
Our latest project features the disciplined and spirited leader of Chi-Ha-Tan Academy鈥Nishi Kinuyo! Standing at 10cm tall, this custom model showcases Nishi in a modern tactical light, swapping her traditional uniform for highly detailed contemporary camouflage.
For fans of Girls und Panzer, Nishi is the embodiment of courage and tradition. We are thrilled to bring her to life using our most advanced color technology, making her look like she just stepped off the screen and into the modern field!
Technical Spotlight: WJP (White Jet Process)
To achieve this level of realism on a miniature scale, we utilized WJP 3D Printing. This technology is a micro-droplet jetting photopolymerization process that merges digital inkjet imaging with photopolymer deposition.
What truly sets WJP apart is its white ink filling technology. By mixing colors directly at the voxel level and using a white base, we can produce vibrant, lifelike colors and smooth gradients that were previously impossible without hours of manual airbrushing. With a resolution of 1800 dpi and layer heights as fine as 14渭m, every speckle of the camouflage is crisp and clear.

Solution
- Step 1: The high-resolution 3D character model was digitally prepared and the specific JGSDF camouflage pattern was mapped onto the geometry.
- Step 2: Thin layers of photosensitive resin were sprayed through a high-speed piezoelectric printhead containing 3840 nozzles.
- Step 3: Each layer was immediately cured with UV light, while colors were mixed in real-time through multi-channel material pathways.
- Step 4: The build platform was lowered with extreme precision after each pass until the full 10cm figure was completely formed.
- Step 5: The completed model was removed from the printer and undergoes a specialized cleaning process to remove support structures.
- Step 6: Sharp, high-contrast eye stickers were manually applied to the face to capture Nishi鈥檚 signature determined gaze.
