About Project
The orchid snake earring is our favorite print of Rebis design studio. The designer ingeniously combined the dangerous, mysterious and elegant symbols together into an art piece. It's now sold in FacFox Etsy Shop馃檪
The orchid flower with a crying eye is printed with a layer thickness of 0.02mm, and the snake is printed using clear resin with a thickness of 0.03mm. They are glued together and assembled with ear studs or ear clips. The pinky resin is a bit softer than the baby blue resin material.
Solution
- Step 1: Examine the 3D models carefully, especially whether the details exceed minimum layer heights.
- Step 2: Add supporting structures. As requested, we 3D print the whole model with SLA Generic Resin.
- Step 3: Cut off the supports and wash the prints with IPA. Spray the print with a prime after air drying. Polish to remove the marks.
