MakerBot, a company that forms part of the Stratasys portfolio, has released CloudPrint 2.0 – a major upgrade to its print preparation and management solution, MakerBot CloudPrint. MakerBot CloudPrint now includes an enhanced interface for a smoother user experience, and several new and upgraded features that enable users to go from CAD file to 3D printed part faster than before.
The importance of data in metal additive manufacturing cannot be overstated. It is data—derived from materials, hardware, process and more—that enables additive manufacturing companies and users to improve the technology and its output, to streamline workflows and achieve greater efficiency. But data can be notoriously difficult to navigate and visualize, which makes it challenging to transform it into actionable insights. AddUp, a global metal additive manufacturing company that was formed out of Fives and Michelin, aims to make 3D printing data more accessible for its metal AM systems through its new AddUp Dashboards software, released in February 2022.

The company has also opened the new Workcenter to third-party developers.

It should be noted that these companies have developed, or contributed to develop, some of the most complex and unique AM processes such as HARP, CBAM and material jetting in general. The GPU-accelerated Dyndrite software will help these companies with scalability, automation and overall improved performance to solve the toughest geometry and compute problems.

The company, which has brought to market a large-scale robotic 3D printing platform, was founded with the express goal of solving automation-related challenges associated with additive manufacturing through its AiSync software platform.
EOS has been a development partner of the Oqton manufacturing operating system (MOS) since 2020, working on streamlining additive production. Moreover, the company conducted an extensive, year-long investigation into available systems to support its own internal production capabilities. EOS came to the conclusion that Oqton is the right platform to serve its purposes for connecting, tracking, optimizing and automating its manufacturing operations. EOS and Oqton are offering combined solutions for additive manufacturing customers because of the deep integration, which is unique in the world of additive manufacturing.
Gryp, a French specialist in the reproduction of automotive parts by 3D printing, is structuring the development of its constantly growing activity by joining forces with the Bordeaux-based startup Handddle to industrialize its manufacturing processes. The new Handddle SMART FARM 3D printer networking solution will enable Gryp to produce more, faster, in better conditions and at lower costs.
