About Project

The cardboards of the Gloomhaven game in the market are sold at a relatively high price and the client decided to DIY some with SLA 3D printing technology. Printing and painting the props are also part of the joy for board gamers!

Solution

• Step 1: The client downloads the model from the Internet and asks us to offer the quoting on different scales. Printing with a thicker layer of 0.5mm would lower the cost.
• Step 2: We input the 3D model into the slicing software and add supporting structures. SLA Generic Resin is chosen for this application as it’s the cheapest resin for printing models with fine details.
• Step 3: Take out the print and wash it with IPA to remove excess materials. Post-cure it with UV. The client prefers to do the rest post-processing by himself to decrease the cost.
