About Project
Although the best reward for employees is money, the trophy is also very cheerful. This client admires a lot of the wild leopard in enterprise culture, so they customed 40 pieces of pouncing leopard trophies for excellent employees. Although the trophies are made with resin, not metal, the beautiful coating looks quite distinguished.
Solution
- Step 1: The amount of these trophies is small and they can all be printed in one 3D printer and in one batch. We just help the client design the insert structure.
- Step 2: We arrange the parts in software and add necessary supports. Then 3D print them with SLA Durable Resin. The layer thickness we set is 0.05mm.
- Step 3: When printing is completed, rinse the models with IPA and post-cure them with UV. Cut off all the supports, then polish with sandpaper.
- Step 4: Electroplate the leopards into gold, and color the base with nano paint. Assemble and glue them together.
