About Project
A company mascot is defined as a fictional spokesperson for a company or product. They can be anything from anthropomorphized animals or objects to cartoon depictions of humans鈥攐r even actors pretending to be actual people. The colorful, distinctive mascot design is an excellent way to grab a viewer鈥檚 attention, especially if they have a unique personality or motif.
A company found us to print the prototypes for their mascot: a monkey. It has a pair of big eyes, which are not flat but extruding out a little as if they were starring at you. The models are made through the SLA 3D printing technique. The matte surface is achieved through sanding and polishing.
Solution
- Step 1: The designer send us the final version of the monkey mascot after our client’s consent.
- Step 2: We print a batch of mascot models using our SLA 3D printers with SLA Tough Resin.
- Step 3: Post-process the models like UV-curing, sanding, polishing, coloring and fine painting.
