This delicate fire rescue truck model is made for a high-end toy company. With so many details and a crane which can rotate and lift, the truck toy must be the most popular one!
The whole model is composed of more than 20 parts. The assembling requires a lot of design and post-processing.
Solution
Step 1: The client sent the STL files to us via a CloudDrive link. Our engineer checked the file to find whether the assemblies can perfectly match.
Step 2: Arrange all the parts in the slicer software and add supporting structures. As there are some moving parts, we advise printing the parts with SLA ABS-like Resin.
Step 3: Break the supports, rinse with IPA, then post-cure with UV. Spray with prime coating for subsequent steps.
Step 4: Color the parts separately with matte paints and metal paints. Screenprint the letters and patterns. Attach the stickers of instrument panels.
