Solution

• Step 1: A 3D model of the pregnant woman figurine was created with the help of computer program and 3D modelers. The model was based on the photo and preferences provided by the customer.
• Step 2: The 3D model was sliced into thin layers using another software program. The layers were converted into instructions for the 3D printer.
• Step 3: The 3D printer was loaded with sandstone powder and colored ink. The printer used a binder jetting technique to print the figurine layer by layer. The binder jetting technique involved depositing a layer of powder on a build platform, then spraying a liquid binder mixed with ink to bind and color the powder according to the instructions. This process was repeated until the figurine was completed.
• Step 4: The figurine was removed from the build platform and cleaned of excess powder. The figurine was then coated with clear UV protection oil and cured in an oven to harden the binder and enhance the colors.
• Step 5: The figurine was inspected for quality and packaged in a protective box, then shipped to the customer.
