About Project

This hospital comfort bed is designed by Huayang Medical Equipment. It could be transformed from a bed into a wheelchair easily, and the whole process could be controlled by the patient himself/herself on the bed.

Solution

  • Step 1: Examine the 3D models sent from the client, and help to adjust the models. As the structure is complicated, the models need to be split into multiple parts.
  • Step 2: Add supports and arrange the placement on slicing software. 3D print the models in one piece with SLA Durable Resin using our industrial 3D printer. The layer thickness we set is 0.05mm.
  • Step 3: Rinse the model with IPA and post-cure with UV. Cut off all the supports, then polish with sandpaper. Make adjustments with a grater to ensure the parts fit.
  • Step 4: Spray the model with putty to make the surface smooth. Color each part with appointed colors and glue them together. Assemble all the parts into one piece.
