About Project

The hospital scanned the oral cavity of their patients by a high-resolution handheld scanner. Then they sent the data to our factory, we used DLP 3D printers to produce those teeth models after the arrangement. The whole lead time is quite short, and the process is quite comfortable for patients.
DLP 3D printers use a digital projector screen to flash a single image of each layer across the entire platform at once. Because the projector is a digital screen, the image of each layer is composed of square pixels, resulting in a layer formed from small rectangular bricks called voxels.

Solution

• Step 1: 3D scanning by a handheld high-resolution scanner.
• Step 2: Process the 3D model on the computer.
• Step 3: 3D printing through a DLP 3D printer.
• Step 4: Post-processing.
