These sample mechanical parts are made with our newly published material: High-temperature Clear Resin-150℃. It has great thermal performance as well as a beautiful appearance, suitable for adverse testing applications.
Solution
Step 1: Examine the 3D models to make sure the minimum detail is large enough, arrange the placement on the platform, and add supporting structures.
Step 2: 3D print the parts with the material High-temperature Clear Resin-150℃. It seems simple but requires a lot of engineers’ experience. We have printed tens of clear parts every day and tuned the 3D printer to the best condition.
Step 3: When printing is finished, remove the supports and rinse it with IPA, then manually sand and polish it with 400-4000 grit sandpaper until the part becomes transparent.
Step 4: Spray the parts evenly with clear acrylic oil. As the oil protection layer has a thickness, the dimension of parts may be affected.
